Frequently Asked Questions

While my background as a nurse deeply informs my understanding of infant safety, development, and wellness, my role through Kindred Grove is strictly as a consultant and coach. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and my support is never a substitute for the medical advice of your child’s pediatrician.
-
As a pediatric nurse and a mom of four, I look at the whole child, temperament, environment, schedule, and development. I do not use a one-size-fits-all 'cry it out' method. Every plan is custom built to match your parenting style and your child's unique emotional needs. While some protest is normal during transitions, my goal is to keep you connected and responsive to your child throughout the process.
-
Consistency is key. Most families who implement their custom plan consistently begin seeing beautiful, noticeable shifts in night sleep and overall predictability within 3 to 7 nights. For daytime naps, it typically takes a bit longer as their internal biological clocks adjust.
-
Every family dynamic is welcome in the Grove. I am comfortable navigating sleep spaces for room sharing siblings, lifestyle preferences, and infants managing reflux or dietary sensitivities (in tandem with your pediatrician's guidelines)
-
It depends on your plan! Many clients successfully use HSA or FSA funds for newborn and sleep consulting services! I am happy to provide an itemized receipt upon request. Please check with your HSA administrator, as they may require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your pediatrician or OBGYN.
*Only available for newborn & postpartum care, and pediatric sleep consulting families.

Not at all! While my premium in home nursery setups and hands on newborn care are exclusive to families here in Maine, all of my sleep consulting packages, and digital registry designs are conducted virtually via video and text. I am proud to support families nationwide.
